Replicas follows William Foster (Keanu Reeves), a scientist who specializes in synthetic biology, and mapping of neural pathways into alternative host bodies. Ed Whittle (Thomas Middleditch) & Scott (Nyasha Hatendi) are members of his team ad Jones (John Ortiz) is his boss.
