There were plenty of movies and shows that were announced at the San Diego Comic Con, and all of these new films are part of the Multiverse Saga.
Sep 1, 2022 · Even though Phase 4 began in 2021, the Multiverse is not a new concept and was teased in early MCU films like 2011's Thor and 2016's Doctor Strange. But in retrospect, it appears that the Infinity Saga officially passed the baton to the Multiverse Saga in 2019's Endgame.

- WandaVision. The first MCU Disney+ TV series, WandaVision was undoubtedly also the first step in the Multiverse Saga. It's notable for officially transforming Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff into the Scarlet Witch, a being who would unlock the multiverse in real-time, and it also introduced the term "nexus" - albeit failing to give a definition.
- Loki Season 1. The Multiverse Saga continued to build up momentum on Disney+ in Loki season 1, which establishes the basic rules of the MCU's multiverse and sets up variants of Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror as its primary villain.
- Marvel's What If...? Season 1. took advantage of the story possibilities offered by the multiverse, exploring branching timelines and revealing He Who Remains was right to believe the multiverse to be dangerous, when one variant of Ultron learned of other timelines, and became a threat to every reality.
- Spider-Man: No Way Home. Spider-Man: No Way Home was the next step in the Multiverse Saga, delighting viewers by taking advantage of the multiverse to bring three different iterations of the big-screen Spider-Man together for the first time.
(2021 and 2023), the film Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), and the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). Phase Four, Phase Five, and Phase Six of the MCU will comprise "The Multiverse Saga".
