Sir Christopher Andrew Hoy MBE (born 23 March 1976) is a former track cyclist and racing driver from Scotland who represented Great Britain at the Olympic and World Championships and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games . Hoy is an 11-time world champion and a six-time Olympic champion.

Chris Hoy (born March 23, 1976, Edinburgh, Scotland) is a British cyclist and race-car driver whose six career Olympic gold medals are among the most won by any Briton. Hoy took up cycling at age seven. He competed in bicycle motocross racing until 1991, when he turned briefly to mountain biking.
