Studying arts in university (film, television, radio), Janice had many jobs in the entertainment industry including being Director of Children's Programming for NBC (1985-1991) and Vice-President of Creative Affairs for DiC Entertainment between 1994-1998.
Janice is currently working as an assistant principal at an elementary school in Los Angeles.
•In episode 119 "Second Chance", a doctor at the hospital where Doctor Tomoe is admitted is named after Janice (Dr. Sonski). Their name is heard over the PA to report to Pediatrics.
