Ramses Jimenez is a Dominican actor who portrayed Hector Reyes in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead.
Ramses was raised in Santo Domingo and on the south side of Chicago at the same time. He was first introduced to film at Columbia College Chicago where he majored in film directing.
He began his artistic career as an actor after an interview for an on-set gaffing position took a surprise turn when the director of the film convinced him to audition for the lead role in the independent film "Chicago Boricua", launching his career as an actor.

Mar 19, 2019 · Ramses Jimenez, known for Fear the Walking Dead and Vida, will play a detective in the drama series about a forensic criminologist and a cop. The pilot is based on the bestselling books by Jeffery Deaver and the 1999 movie starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie.
In March 2019, it was announced that Russell Hornsby, Michael Imperioli, Arielle Kebbel, Courtney Grosbeck, Ramses Jimenez, Brooke Lyons, Roslyn Ruff and Tate Ellington had joined the cast for their pilot lead roles.
