In this Italian children's classic, a lonely toymaker named Gepetto creates a small wooden puppet who magically comes to life. In a series of mischievous adventures, Pinocchio thinks he can get by on a variety of clever lies and tricks. There is one problem: his nose grows every time he tells a lie. One way.
Narrated by actor Danny Aiello. This buoyant adaptation comes alive with the spirited music of the Mediterranean performed by Les Miserables Brass Band. Ages five and up.

The other reason is Danny Aiello's narration, done with a great humorous edge and with the right amount of nuance and dynamic range. Moreover the visuals are lively and very rich in colour. The background detail is ambitious yet not cluttered and always cohesive, and the drawing is smooth with the exaggeration not looking cheap or rushed at all.
