Shu Kei ( Chinese: 舒琪; Jyutping: syu1 kei4) or Kenneth Ip is a Hong Kong film director and screenwriter active during the 1980s and 1990s.
His latest directorial work is The Dream, a segment of the omnibus film Beautiful 2014 (2014), adapted from a short story by author-director Evan Yang (Yi Wen). Shu Kei, whose real name is Kenneth Ip, was born in Hong Kong in 1956 and started writing film criticism while still in secondary school.

Bookstore）。

Shu Kei worked at Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) as a screenwriter in an anthology series for New Wave directors including Patrick Tam and Yim Ho. After graduating from university, he joined Commercial Television as a screenwriter. During the mid-1970s, Shu Kei became the chief editor of Film Biweekly which he established.
