Rosen, who died November 11, 2019, in Tucson, AZ, from complications of long-standing cardiac and renal disease, had come to see emergency medicine in a new and profoundly different way. “He had vision,” observed Meislin, who is now a professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine.

Feb 7, 2020 · Peter Rosen died on the evening of November 11th 2019, slipping off quietly, his wife and best friend Ann at his side, as she had been throughout their 60 years marriage. Medically, his death came as no surprise. He long suffered from coronary artery disease and cardiomyopathy.
