Alison Nisselle OAM (26 April 1943 - 15 November 2023) was an Australian writer and producer best known for co-creating the crime drama TV series Phoenix and Janus (with Tony McDonald), creating the children's TV series Zoo Family and writing the feature films Curtin, Healing and Parer's War.

Australian director Craig Monahan is working here with Alison Nisselle, who wrote ABC-TV's Parer's War along with Phoenix and Janus, the 1990s productions that still stand as two of the best crime series to screen on Australian television. This is her first feature film script and it's terrific.
