Claudio Fragasso (born 2 October 1951) is a film director and screenwriter. Fragasso first attempted to make art films in the early 1970s, then became a screenwriter in the Italian film industry in the mid-1970s.

At the age of ten, the British brother-in-law, director of documentaries for the London BBC, gave him a camera in super 8. He began to shoot many films, involving his friends.

Claudio Fragasso is an Italian director who has made more than 40 films in various genres, including horror, science fiction and comedy. He is known for his collaborations with Bruno Mattei and Alice Cooper, and for creating the cult classic Troll 2.
