    • Arlo the Alligator Boy. Though this new direct-to-Netflix release may have gone fairly under the radar, it's absolutely worth seeking out the darling musical adventures of "Arlo the Alligator Boy."
    • Chicken Run. The gentle, cheeky, stop-motion-animated "Chicken Run" is an action-packed prison escape movie about funny fowl that's fit for the whole family.
    • The Angry Birds Movie (2016) While it may be damning with faint praise to give credit to The Angry Birds Movie for not being a total disaster... it really could've been much worse.
    • Apollo 10½: A Space Age Childhood (2022) Richard Linklater returned to rotoscope animation following Waking Life (2001) and A Scanner Darkly (2006), with this nostalgic trip back to the summer of '69.
    • The Boxtrolls (2014) Turns out, some trolls aren't so bad. The Boxtrolls centers on a young boy named Eggs (Isaac Hempstead Wright), who is raised among a community of peaceful trolls who are nonetheless stereotyped and hunted by a predatory exterminator, Archibald Snatcher (Ben Kingsley).
    • Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017) The wildly popular Captain Underpants book series has kept kids entertained since 1997, but it wasn't until 20 years later that the tighty-whities-clad hero made it to the big screen.
