The Wellington Film Society is open to everyone. Membership gives you free entry to all our screenings, and most screenings are open to members only. All our screenings are in the 750 seat ‘Grand’ Theatre at the Embassy.
Our films are a diverse mix of high-quality documentaries, short films, Hollywood and international classics, director’s retrospectives and the best of contemporary cinema. We’ve announced our schedule up until Whānau Mārama New Zealand International Film Festival starting 31 July. We’ve also announced several other films and have a few more up our sleeve that we’re not in a position to confirm screening dates for yet.
