Biography. Commissioner Gregg Weiss, a retired business executive from California, was elected to the District 2 seat of the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners in November 2018, and reelected in 2022. Gregg serves on a variety of boards locally, statewide, and nationally.

He co-founded PhageTech and Debut Biotechnology, two startups that apply phage display and continuous flow manufacturing to detect diseases and produce products.
