Mar 15, 2006 · G Devarajan, a.k.a Paravoor Govindan Devarajan, born on September 27, 1927, was the eldest son of Kochugovindanashan of Paravoor Kottappurathu Panakkadu in Kollam District and Kochukunju. His father who was a Mridhangam artist also happened to be his first Guru who initiated him into music.
