Trascorre l’infanzia a Trieste, dove frequenta il ginnasio Dante Alighieri. 1910. Si trasferisce a Firenze per iscriversi al corso di Lettere dell’Istituto di Studi Superiori.
Scrittore e giornalista (Trieste 1892 - Roma 1975); giovanissimo collaborò a La Voce, poi a molti giornali e periodici, letterarî e politici, tra cui Il Resto del carlino e Il Giornale di Napoli, del quale fu da ultimo direttore.
