David Aukin (born 12 February 1942) is an English theatrical and executive producer as well as a qualified solicitor. He has been nominated for multiple British Academy Television Awards and has won twice for producing films about Tony Blair : The Government Inspector in 2005 and Britz in 2009.
David Aukin has many years’ experience of producing and currently works as a Consultant and Executive Producer. Head of Film at Channel4 (1990-98) he co-founded Daybreak Pictures (2003-2021) with Hal Vogel.

Jun 7, 2021 · Hal Vogel. Daybreak Pictures co-founders David Aukin and Hal Vogel are leaving the Tinopolis-owned UK producer, with the latter launching a new company. Vogel’s Slate Entertainment will work on international scripted projects for both film and TV, and is being backed by Ringside Media, the investment arm of Ringside Studios.
