My prints, books and drawings are about the poetry of solitude and memory. They are about the comfort and poignancy of beauty, reminiscence and longing. Searching for and creating this comfort are essential human endeavors. What we make and what we find are necessarily juxtaposed to the pain and suffering of loss.

Diane Fine is a distinguished book artist, printmaker, and educator. Under her imprint Moonkosh Press, the artist has produced over twenty-five limited edition books that explore the search for meaning, and speak to the need for beauty in our lives.
Apr 18, 2021 · Diane Fine is Distinguished Teaching Professor of Art at Plattsburgh State University of New York where she teaches printmaking and book arts. She received her BFA from Syracuse University and her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
