Fernando Arrabal Terán (born August 11, 1932) is a Spanish playwright, screenwriter, film director, novelist, and poet. He was born in Melilla and settled in France in 1955. Regarding his nationality, Arrabal describes himself as "desterrado", or "half- expatriate, half- exiled ".

Fernando Arrabal was born on 11 August 1932 in Melilla, Spanish Protectorate of Morocco, Spain. He is a writer and actor, known for L'arbre de Guernica (1975), Long Live Death (1971) and Odyssey of the Pacific (1982). He has been married to Luce Moreau since 1 February 1958.
