K. Bhaskaran Nair (1 March 1929 – 29 March 1990), professionally credited by his stage name Adoor Bhasi, was an Indian actor and film director. He was mostly cast as a sidekick to protagonists, particularly Prem Nazir.
Adoor Bhasi was the childhood friend and close colleague of actor Prem Nazir, whose death in 1989, reportedly disturbed him mentally. He acted in Prem Nazir’s debut film Thyagaseema (1951), which was never released.
Adoor Bhasi was a legendary Malayalam actor, singer, director, and politician. He acted in over 700 films, mostly in comedy roles, and won many awards. He died in 1990 after a kidney disease.
