Simon London is a New Zealand-born performer who has appeared in theatre, film and TV in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. He is known for his roles in The Hobbit trilogy, The Reality and Walton, and has also written and directed several short films.

Simon grew up in a volcano crater in the South Island of New Zealand and is now based in London. He discovered directing after working for over 20 years as an actor, theatre maker and photographer in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
This Is Ours is a short film by Simon London, a UK-based filmmaker, about a young girl in a facility where her worth is measured and evaluated. The film won The Golden Egg at Reykjavik International Film Festival 2023 and was selected for PÖFF Shorts and Black Nights International Film Festival.
Simon is a filmmaker, photographer and actor, based in the UK. He’s currently completing an MA in Directing Fiction at The National Film & Television School. His recent films The Calf and That Workman’s Arm have received world premieres in competition at international film festivals in 2022.
