Sasha Roiz (Hebrew: סשה רויז; born October 21, 1973) is a Canadian actor known for his portrayals of Sam Adama in the science-fiction TV series Caprica and Captain Sean Renard in the American fantasy TV series Grimm.
Sasha Roiz stars in NBC's new hit series "Grimm" as Captain Renard, Nick's politically adept superior officer and a descendant of a powerful line of royalty. Roiz's "Grimm" character follows his last regular role as Sam Adama, a brutal mob enforcer, on the critically acclaimed Syfy series "Caprica," prequel to "Battlestar Galactica."
