Rođen je u porodici pozorišnih glumaca. Posle završene Akademije glumi u pozorištu u komadima poznatih pisaca. TV karijeru počinje u seriji Otpisani ( 1974 ). Veoma je zapažen u kultnoj seriji Grlom u jagode ( 1976) režisera Srđana Karanovića.
