מכרם חורי הוא שחקן תיאטרון, קולנוע וטלוויזיה ובמאי תיאטרון, זוכה פרס ישראל לתיאטרון לשנת 1987 – האמן הערבי־ישראלי הראשון שזכה בפרס זה. בנוסף זכה בפרס אופיר לשחקן הטוב ביותר על תפקידו בסרט “הבן של אלוהים” (גיא נתיב וארז תדמור, 2013). בצעירותו למד ח’ורי בלונדון, באקדמיה לאמנויות התיאטרון מאונטוויו, וכשחזר ארצה הצטרף ללהקת השחקנים של תיאטרון חיפה.
