Christopher Bower Gaze OBC MSM (born 12 May 1952) is an English actor, host, artist, theatre and opera director residing in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Best known as Artistic Director of Vancouver's Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival, Christopher Gaze has performed in England, the USA and across Canada.
Christopher Gaze is best known as the Founding Artistic Director of Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival, which celebrates its thirty-fifth season in 2024. He hosts the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s popular Tea & Trumpets series and also their annual Traditional Christmas concerts.
Christopher Gaze was born on 12 May 1952 in Surrey, England, UK. He is an actor and producer, known for Cool Runnings (1993), Stargate SG-1 (1997) and MacGyver (1985).

Bard on the Beach founding artistic director Christopher Gaze Gaze trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in his native England and immigrated to Canada in 1975. When he's not acting and directing at Bard, he performs on radio, TV and film, and does voiceovers for animation.
