Raghuvaran Velayuthan Nair (11 December 1958 – 19 March 2008) was an Indian actor who predominantly acted in films made in South India. He has acted in more than 200 Tamil , Telugu , Malayalam , Kannada and Hindi films.
Raghuvaran was a Tamil actor who starred in over 160 films, including Mudhalvan, Amarkalam and Bheemaa. He was born in Kerala in 1958 and died in Chennai in 2008.

Soon after his birth, Raghuvaran’s father shifted his hotel business from Mathur to Coimbatore and the entire family shifted to Coimbatore. He dropped out of his Bachelor of Arts in History degree from Coimbatore (Government Arts College) to pursue a career in acting.
