Velimir "Bata" Živojinović (Serbian Cyrillic: Велимир "Бата" Живојиновић; 5 June 1933 – 22 May 2016) was a Yugoslav and Serbian actor and politician. He appeared in more than 340 films and TV series, and is regarded as one of the best actors in former Yugoslavia .
Велимир Бата Живојиновић ( Јагодина, 5. јун 1933 — Београд, 22. мај 2016) био је српски и југословенски глумац. Живојиновић је био најпознатији по улогама у партизанским филмовима.

May 23, 2016 · BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — Velimir Bata Zivojinovic, former Yugoslavia’s best known film star who was also popular in China, has died, Serbian state television reported Monday. He was 82. Zivojinovic died late on Sunday in a Belgrade hospital, according to state TV.
