Percy Marmont (25 November 1883 – 3 March 1977) was an English film actor. [1] [2] Biography. Marmont appeared in more than 80 films between 1916 and 1968. A veteran film actor by 1923, he scored a big hit that year in If Winter Comes, later remade by MGM in 1947.
Percy Marmont was a British actor and director who starred in silent films and stage plays. He was known for his roles in The Clean Heart, Lord Jim, and The Philadelphia Story, and had a street and a hotel named after him in Los Angeles.
