Aug 17, 2017 · The show is a piece of autobiographical theatre telling the stories from Bat-El’s childhood growing up as – in her own words – a ‘tiny’ person. The Student caught up with her just after her first show to ask about its history and why she wants to tell her story.
Bat-El Papura (her first name means “Daughter of G-d” in Hebrew) is a 48-inch tall “little person” who was born in Romania and has spent most of her life in Israel. During her 30 or so years on Earth, she has encountered and overcome a great many obstacles.
