  1. Kaylee Rochelle McKeown OAM (born 12 July 2001) is an Australian swimmer and triple Olympic gold medalist. She is the world record holder in the long course 50 metre backstroke and both the long course and short course 200 metre backstroke.

Jul 29, 2023 · Australian swimmer Kaylee McKeown completed a sweep of the backstroke events at the World Aquatics Championships 2023, becoming only the second person to achieve this feat in history. She beat Regan Smith and Peng Xuwei in the 200m final, adding to her titles in the 50m and 100m.

Fellow Aussie Emily Seebohm finished fifth, nearly a second behind 20-year-old McKeown, whose time of 57.47 seconds was only 0.02 seconds behind the world record time she set in June this year.
