Makharbek Khasbiyevich Khadartsev ( Russian: Махарбек Хазбиевич Хадарцев) (born 2 October 1964) is a Soviet -Russian politician and former wrestler who later competed for Russia and Uzbekistan, two times Olympic champion and five times world champion in Freestyle wrestling.
Makharbek Khadartsev was the world’s top freestyle light-heavyweight in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Wrestling in that class his entire career, Khadartsev was Olympic Champion in 1988 and 1992, World Champion in 1986-87 and 1989-91, and European Champion in 1987-89, 1990-92 and 1995.
