Expert Tip: When planning time to hike Zion’s Narrows, remember to set aside an extra 45 minutes for the shuttle ride, since you’ll need to take this to and from the visitor center.
The Narrows is gorgeous and not as hard as I thought from reading reviews. The water is cold but you honestly get used to it within seconds because you're so overwhelmed and excited to be there. A walking stick was a life saver to most in our group but we did have a few of our teens skip it. Dont get too freaked out about shoes.
Mar 5, 2024 · The Narrows hike (bottom-up) is an easy-moderate hike that’s ideal for the adventurous at heart. It is a great hike for couples, solo travelers, fit elders, and families! We saw many parents with their kids hiking the Narrows without a problem. The water is fairly shallow for most of the hike.
