Feb 9, 2024 · Steel Essence can be obtained by doing certain activities in The Steel Path, these may be used to purchase various items from Tenshin, who can be found at any relay. Every day, there will be five Steel Path incursions that will reward you with 5 Steel Essence upon completion.
Steel Path is "hard mode", it gives enemies 100 more levels and additional health/armor/shields, and cranks up the spawns to be equivalent to always having 4 players, even if you're solo. You gain mastery for progressing through SP, just like in the regular star chart.
