Paul Felix Weingartner, Edler von Münzberg (geboren am 2. Juni 1863 in Zadar, Kaisertum Österreich; gestorben am 7. Mai 1942 in Winterthur) war ein österreichischer Dirigent, Komponist, Pianist und Schriftsteller .
Weingartner was a fine conductor who had studied with Liszt and Wagner and understood the challenges of the Ninth Symphony. His 1935 Vienna recording with the Vienna Philharmonic is the earliest recommendable version of the work, but it was not accepted by the Nazis as German enough.
