Albert Dovecar (19 July 1937 – 7 June 1962) was a sergeant in the French 1st Foreign Parachute Regiment of the French Foreign Legion. He was executed by firing squad at the Fort du Trou d'Enfer for his part in the assassination of French National Police Divisional Commissaire Roger Gavoury during the Algerian War .
Albert Dovecar, né le 19 juillet 1937 à Tuzno dans l'ex-Yougoslavie, (aujourd'hui en Croatie) et mort fusillé au fort du Trou-d'Enfer à Marly-le-Roi le 7 juin 1962, est un sergent du 1 er régiment étranger de parachutistes qui a rejoint durant la Guerre d'Algérie les commandos Delta de l'Organisation de l'armée secrète (OAS).
Claude Piegts and Albert Dovecar were executed by firing squad on 7 June 1962, and Roger Degueldre on 6 July 1962. Jean Bastien-Thiry , who had attempted the Petit-Clamart assassination on de Gaulle, but was not formally a member of the OAS, was also executed, on 11 March 1963.

Albert DOVECAR, né le 19 Juillet 1937 à TUZNO,en actuelle Croatie, près de la frontière autrichienne. Elevé en Autriche, il rejoindra la France, à Marseille où il s'engagera. Après son instruction de base à la 2e compagnie d’instruction du 1er RE à Mascara, il est affecté au 1er REP .
