On June 15, 2012, Demonoid reverted to its previous .me domain, but returned to the .ph domain a week later. The Demonoid website and tracker last went offline in July 2012 for a period of nearly two years, the longest hiatus ever. At the time it went offline, Demonoid was hosted by an ISP in Ukraine.

Demonoid was the best general tracker around. It had all the stuff that didn't quite fall into the categories that private trackers use, so it was a great place for stuff that had fallen between the cracks.
