Ramesh Behl was born on 17th October 1962 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, to Shri (Late) Malik Ram Behl and Smt Sudarshana Behl. He completed both his schooling and graduation from the city of Kanpur, the latter via Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University.
