Ziad Doueiri (Arabic: زياد دويري ; born October 7, 1963) is a Lebanese film director. He is known for his award-winning films West Beirut (1998) and The Insult (2017), a film that was nominated at the 90th Academy Awards, representing Lebanon in the Best International Feature Film category.
Ziad Doueiri is a director, writer and camera operator who has worked on films such as The Insult, The Attack and West Beirut. He was born in Lebanon and studied in the US, and now lives in France and works in Europe and the US.
