Henry Carr (8 January 1880 – 28 November 1963) was a Canadian Basilian priest also known as Father "Hank" Carr. [1] He enhanced Catholic education in Canada by broadening the curriculum at University of Toronto 's University of St. Michael's College.

Father Henry Carr, CSB. Born on January 8, 1880, in Oshawa (Ontario), Henry Carr was one of nine children of William Carr and Margaret Quigley. A pious and gifted student, he was encouraged to continue his schooling after graduating from the local high school.

In 2012 he was designated a person of national historic significance.
