Jun 30, 2008 · The new medical center was a result of a 10-year design and construction process and one of the first total-replacement hospital projects to meet seismic safety requirements. It housed the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA, offering advanced technology and patient-focused care.
