Years after a brief affair with Myra, who stole $20,000 from him, Robert Hendricks goes to Alaska to reform a lawless mining town. After failing to recognize Myra, who runs a dance hall there, Robert falls in love with her niece Velma, for whom Myra has already arranged a marriage with the wealthy, unscrupulous Lief Bergson.
