Oct 24, 2002 · In his new film, an intriguing and delicately crafted drama, Malmros portrays the poignant story of a man, who grew up in very modest circumstances in the early years of the 20th century, but whose diligence, intelligence and willingness to endure hardship helped him to become a leading brain surgeon.
While it is jumping back and forth in time, from 1910s to 1980s in no predictable order, At Kende Sandheden still maintains to be delicate, quick and haunting in it’s portray of a man. The sugeon scenes, the lingering shots and a bunch of unconventional angels makes this film's cinematography something to be very fascinated about.
