The Third Annual Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament, also referred to as the Crocket Cup (1988), was an event held over two nights: April 22 and 23, 1988. Scheduled to feature 24 teams, the tournament included a few changes to the original lineup and ended up with only 22 teams.
Mar 24, 2008 · Thanks again to WWE Classics On Demand, I got to watch a classic event in the '88 Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament. For those that don't know, this event wasn't your usual 3-4 hour one day event but a two day tag team tournament with special non-tournament matches each night.
