These pirates do relatively little piracy, instead getting wrapped up a plot about colonialism in Singapore. The British have imprisoned the Raja in a Singaporean town and replaced him with a white governor, Lord Burke.
The Pirates of Malaysia is the story of a Malaysian rebel, Sandokan, who, with his group of renegades, tries to thwart an evil British general from forcing the good Sultan Hassim to resign in favor of the Imperial crown.
