In Hell, Maciste is seduced by the wife of Pluto, Proserpina, and his stepdaughter, Luciferina. After giving a kiss to Proserpina, Maciste becomes a demon, condemned to remain in Hell. Barbariccia, jealous of Proserpina's attention to Maciste, organizes an uprising against Pluto.
