In the notes that Stan made about the murder case, the word "prosecutor" was misspelled "procecuter". Not a likely mistake a retired prosecutor like Stan would ever make.
There is a murder in the opening sequence of the movie, but the "dead" guy's eyes are rolling around under the closed eyelids.
At one point, while telling Lauren yet again that she never would have sent her daughter in to find her father murdered, (which was Amanda's proof that she didn't know he was dead) Amanda says that she never would have let her daughter go in and find her father "dead on the floor". Throughout the flashbacks and all the related scenes, the father is clearly in his chair at his desk, not on the floor.
