Synopsis by Hal Erickson. Heroine May Allison is made to suffer for the indiscretions of her father Frank Currier, who after being accused of cheating at cards was banned from "polite" society. Given the cold shoulder by friends and family alike, Currier is reduced to poverty, and finally dies of grief.
