Shankar comes home to fall into her embrace, to his wife who, at last, has awakened. Back to top. Shankar's marriage is arranged. Only during the ceremony does he realise that his bride, Gouri, is the girl he had set eyes on in the mela where he had seen her with her grandmother. The wedding night!
Naive, childish and precocious, Gauri lives a wealthy lifestyle in a small town, Rajanpur, along with her sister, Ratna; her mom; and dad, Girdhari Singh. While at the fair, she gets into an argument with Shankar. Shortly thereafter, Gauri is told that her marriage has been arranged.
