A man (John Ritter) learns that he has been added to a mysterious list of men's names in his wife's (Nicollette Sheridan) possession.

Dr. Carter Elson is a man who finds a list of men's names among his wife Alex's possessions. When Carter discovers his own name at the bottom of the list, and that some of the other names are those of dead men, he confides in his friend/agent Betty.
"Dead Husbands" features dissatisfied wives doing each other a favor by killing their "insignificant others." Alfred Hitchcock has to be rolling around in his grave, nevertheless, "Dead Husbands" delivers the "black comedy" that the dark subject deserves.
