Apr 11, 2003 · Nick Nolte plays a great shambling wreck of a wounded Hemingway hero in "The Good Thief," a film that's like a descent into the funkiest dive on the wrong side of the wrong town. Movie Reviews TV/Streaming
The Good Thief. The gentleman’s casino heist film is well-established within the genre and typically should feature a flamboyant location shot with beautiful lighting and camerawork, and a complex plot that is driven forward by a debonair and dashing leading man.
Neil Jordan's masterful french casino heist flick. Nick Nolte gives a solid performance as the down on his luck heroin addict, ex-thief back for one last caper. Some interesting twists on the genre, keeping everything moving at a nice pace. Now the bad part.
