Briefly, the family of Hammand of Dannow is said to be haunted by an apparition known as the Undying Monster. At different times members of the family have died mysteriously, and their deaths have been attributed to a meeting with the Monster.
The Undying Monster is the lightest of lightweight werewolf pictures, a whodunit in which the werewolf hardly appears, and elderly servants act just as suspiciously as anyone trained on old, creaky mysteries would expect.
